Bounds Green Church
Just a mile up the road from Wood Green, Bounds Green is very much its own area, with a Piccadilly Line underground station, a separate railway station, shops, restaurants, barbers, cafes, and thousands of people but in all of this, something is missing. There is no evangelical local church gospel witness.
We want to see that change and so, working with local residents Chris and Bethany Przybylowicz, we are seeking to reach Bounds Green with the gospel. Our ultimate hope is to see a church planted there. Over the course of 2018, Chris and Bethany worked hard to build relationships in the community, thousands of doors have been knocked on, prayers offered, and leaflets distributed. In October 2018 we began a weekly Bible study on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm in Hot Milk Café that eventually moved to Chris and Bethany’s flat nearby. In Spring 2019 we held a family hangout at Albert Road Recreation Ground to meet neighbours, play games, and have fun while engaging members of the community with our vision for the area. On Easter Sunday 2019, we began meeting on Sunday for a trial period of six weeks. That period having ended, we are continuing to seek to engage the community with the ultimate hope of a church planted, but for now we encourage people from Bounds Green to join us down the road in Wood Green.
